Deborah G. Solgon Obituary

Deborah Grace Solgon of Mukwonago, WI passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 75.

A beloved mother, Deborah is survived by her children Jason Schildknecht, Jennifer (Clark) Fremgen, and Kelly (Jesse) Demski; adored grandchildren Claire Fremgen, Trevor and Hennessey Schildknecht and Jay, Ty, and Jesa Demski. Also left to cherish her memory are her longtime companion Terry Hoeft and dear sister Laurie Solgon.

Deborah often talked about living in Germany where she gave birth to her son, her first born. Other memories were her trips to Hawaii to visit her daughter and taking road trips. A 3-hour drive to go have lunch wasn't out of the ordinary. Going to see the geese in Horicon Marsh, the magic that the change of seasons brought, and the enchantment of the Autumn colors…these were the makings of Deborah's happy heart.

In addition to watching her favorite medical dramas like Grey's Anatomy and ER, Deborah's family would tell you that she loved to shop, finding much delight in thrifting and great bargains.

Not only did Deborah dedicate her life to her children and grandchildren, but also to her work with children with special needs. She was a Special Education Instructional Assistant with Mukwonago Area Schools for 33 years.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Florence (nee Donofrio) Solgon.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25 at 4PM, followed by a memorial service at 5PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mukwonago (930 Main St).
