Bonnie L. Kasper Obituary
After a courageous battle with cancer, and surrounded by her loving family, Bonnie passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 8, 2023. She is the beloved wife of Ric; devoted and caring mother of sons Paul and Zack (Echo) and grandmother of Ezra and Abel. Bonnie is also survived by her siblings, sisters who were her best friends, Sandy (Dennis), Cathy (the late David), Marcia (Karl), Mary (Bill), and her brother Craig; adored and loyal pets Zeek and Leo, who remained by her side until she left this earthly life, and numerous close friends and extended family members.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Doris Schaaf, father and mother-in-law John and Juanita Kasper, brothers-in-law John Jr and Ron Kasper, brother-in-law David, and nephew Nat.
Bonnie loved animals, had a fondness for sheep, and even once had a Billy goat that she affectionately named "Billy". In addition to a terrific sense of humor and sweet goofiness, Bonnie was known for her beautiful garden which she tended to with masterful care. Considered a task, and perhaps a mystery to many, she really enjoyed yard work and shoveling snow. What undoubtedly brought Bonnie the most joy was her faith in God and spending time with her family; girls' night with her sisters on Thursdays, yearly trips to Door County with her husband in celebration of their wedding anniversary, and simply spending quality time with her sons and grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday, December 15 from 12pm until the time of the memorial service at 1pm at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 930 Main St. in Mukwonago.
