Anthony Cesarone Obituary
Anthony J. Cesarone of Mukwonago, born on September 10, 1951, in Chicago, IL to parents Anthony and Irene Cesarone passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 72. With over 20 proud years of service in the Army, Warrant Officer Cesarone was a decorated veteran and esteemed pilot who served in the Vietnam War. After retiring from military service, he continued his career as a pilot for SC Johnson in Racine.
Anthony is the cherished husband of 38 years to Joanne (nee Seitz), loving father to three daughters Lisa, Dawn, and Tammy, stepsons Brent and Paul Luebke, and his grandchildren. He is the dear brother of Linda Cesarone of Arizona, Jack (Julie) Cesarone of Montana, and Brenda (Roland) Mills of Illinois. Anthony is further survived and will be deeply missed by his mother Irene. His memory will be cherished and held dear in the hearts of his best friend Lanny Morrison, who was Anthony's copilot on many missions, Lanny's wife Beth, and his lifelong friends from grade school, Al Dobricky and Larry Glasgow.
Anthony enjoyed simple things like being with family, getting together with friends, many who were also military retirees, spending time with his beloved dogs, and fishing. Although he was a self-proclaimed "duffer", Anthony also loved to golf. He was perhaps happiest camping with his wife or making Italian sausage from scratch, just as his grandfather taught him when he was a child. Anthony took great joy in gifting his family and friends with the sausage, especially at Christmas.
In honor of Anthony's wishes, there are no events or services planned.
There is no greater honor than the opportunity to serve and help preserve our freedom – it's the essence of humanity. James E. Livingston – Vietnam War.
