He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Pecanas and Sara Pecanas (Corso); his wife Mary Brynjulfson; his son Emil Pecanas III; his granddaughter Michelle Ann; his brother Dane; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Mae, Gary (Lynn), Lenny and Butch; and his parents-in-law, Leonard and Mae Brynjulfson.
He is survived by: his children, Suann (Aaron), Diana (Paul), Laurie (Mike) and Michael (Mary Rose); his grandchildren, Heather, Jonathan, Allen, Julia (Anthony) and Austin; his great grandchildren, Michael Jr., Cassuis, Hailey Bo, Liam, Ayva, Ayden, Bently, Ridlee, Wyatt, Hudson and Ella; his sister Barb (Terry); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy, Leone, Linda C., Bonnie, Linda L., Terry (Mary) and Jerry (Carrie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
