He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Erdman and Mabel Erdman; his brother Bernie; his nephew Bart; and his brother-in-law Ed.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Bloomer of Chilton, WI; his brother Bob; his children, Dr Barry Erdman (Marcia) and Edyie; and his siblings-in-law, Molly and Jim.
