Margene Walstad Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margene Walstad of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, born in Boscobel, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Miller and Opal Miller (Kielly); her husband Kenneth Walstad; her brother John Miller; her great grandchild Ava Leia Czyzewski; her daughter Kathleen Walstad; her siblings-in-law, Donna Schultz (Alard), Dorothy O'Connell (Larry), Doris Walstad, Charles Walstad (Ramona), Burdette Walstad, Roger Walstad, Curtis Walstad and Bill Lenaway; and her nephews, Jeffrey Schultz, Timothy Walstad and Ross Walstad.

She is survived by: her children, Judith Hefty (Steven) of Mount Horeb and David Walstad; her grandchildren, Amy Czyzewski (Ryan), Chad Hefty (Janelle) of Mount Horeb, Kayla Hefty of Belleville, Lance Hefty of Greenfield, Ryan Walstad (Jessica) of Highland and Chelsea Walstad of Perry Hall; her great grandchildren, Jaina, Marissa Czyzewski, Olivia and Mila Hefty; and her siblings-in-law, Janice Miller of Boscobel, Florence Lenaway of Tuczon, Ariz, Marge Walstad of Lodi and Thomas Walstad (Elaine) of Cross Plains. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
