He was predeceased by: his wife Diana Gruter. He is survived by: his parents, Gene Kempfer and Phyllis Kempfer (Jones); his son Christopher Kempfer; and his siblings, Victoria, Gene, Rich and Mike (Jeryl). He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
