He is survived by: his wife Margene Arlene Miller; his children, Judith Hefty (Steven) of Mount Horeb and David Walstad (Jenny Suong Vo) of Destin, Fla.; his grandchildren, Amy Czyzewski (Ryan), Chad Hefty (Janelle) of Mount Horeb, Kayla Hefty of Belleville, Lance Hefty of Greenfield, Ryan Walstad (Jessica) of Washington, D. C. and Chelsea Walstad of Baltimore; his great grandchildren, Jaina, Marissa Czyzewski, Olivia and Mila Hefty; his siblings, Florence Lenaway of Tucson, Ariz. and Thomas Walstad (Elaine) of Cross Plains; and his sisters-in-law, Marge Walstad of Lodi and Janice Miller of Boscobel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
