We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2019, at the age of 91, John W. Stevenson (Mount Horeb, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Stevenson and Mary E. Stevenson (Fitzpatrick); his stepmother Ceilia Stevenson; his former wife Lois; and his siblings, Richard Stevenson and Mary Bethel.

He is survived by: his wife Judith M. Brogley; his children, Sandra Anderson of Madison, William Stevenson of Fitchburg, Mary Stanek of Sarasota, Fla., Donna Mather (Arvo) of Waunakee, Diana Wolfe of Madison and Scott Stevenson (April) of Oregon; his stepson Treavor Steinhoff (Ardis) of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and his friends, Dr. Lou Harned and Ken Burns. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
