She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Nelson and Norma Nelson (Tvedt); her husband Russell Magnuson; her parents-in-law, Mae and Bernhard Magnuson; her siblings, Ansel and Alice; her brother-in-law Walter Volden; and her brothers, Ronnie and Richard Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, Don Magnuson (Mae), Mary Humphrey (Leo) and Tom Magnuson (Penny); her grandchildren, Brenda Hagedorn (Shawn), Chad Humphrey (Kari), Ben Magnuson (Linda), Paul Magnuson (Cassie) and Shane Magnuson; her great grandchildren, Ava, Julia Magnuson, Emmi, Ty Hagedorn, Chloe and Nathan Humphrey; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Nelson, Sharon Nelson and Jan Starr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
