It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel L. (Aavang) Hermann of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Aavang and Lena Aavang; her husband Vance Hermann; and her siblings, Orville, Laverne, Clifford, Dorothy Olson (Thomas) of Madison and Gertrude Welsch (Raymond) of Pennsylvania.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Meyer (Wayne) of Oak Creek, Wis. and Jeffrey Hermann of Pasadena, Calif.; her grandchildren, Bryan Meyer (Jessica), Lauren Meyer and Parker Hermann; her great grandchildren, Roman and Everly Meyer; and her sisters-in-law, Saundra Roth, LaVonne Nesheim and Grace Aavang. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and some dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or an organization or a cause that is special to your heart in Hazel's name would be appreciated.
