It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harland Kenneth Rue of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwegian Rue and Minnie Rue (Nelson); and also, Otto, Esther Oimoen, Henry, Alice Carden (Kermit), Mabel Knudson (Wallace), Helen Knudson (Alton), Marvin Rue (Betty), Lawrence "Shorty" Uren and Gerald Oimoen (Jane).
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Marie Oimoen; his children, Kathy Anderson (Gary) of Franksville, Ken Rue (Theresa) of Barneveld, Tom Rue (Dawn) of Tomah and Pam Neumann (Paul) of Madison; his grandchildren, Jennifer Garcia (Jesse), Scot Anderson (Sara), Nic Rue (Carrie), John Rue, Esther Rue, Tim Rue (Michelle), Marcus Rue (Christina), Karla Rue, Brett Neumann and Jamie Neumann; his sister Beulah Uren of Mount Horeb; and also, Harvey, Arthur, Joanna, Abigail, Jacob, Logan, Caleb, Anna and Olivia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID concerns, a private funeral service for immediate family will be held.
The family requests memorials to be made to Barneveld Lutheran Church or Ingleside Communities.
