Eunice M. Bakken Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2021, at the age of 98, Eunice M. Bakken of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Field and Rosena Field (Thorson); her former husband Marvin Bakken; her siblings, Roger Field (Donna), Wesley Field (Irene), Doris Field Marquardt and Dawn Field; her siblings-in-law, Richard Sharp, Peter Woodward, Richard Means, Robert Bakken (Sophie), Clifford Bakken (Margie), Delphin Bakken (Marie), Hector Bakken (Sally), Irvin H. Bakken (Esther), Forrest Bakken, Wesley Bakken (Chrystal), Evelyn Basthemer (Arthur), Eleanor Moore (Alvin) and Marie Johnson (Julian); and her grandson Matthew Bakken.

She is survived by: her sisters, Verna Sharp Woodward and Vivian Means; her children, Susan (Lonnie Drinkall), Rod Bakken (Joyann), Jeff Bakken (Susan) and Dr. Matthias Manz (Elisabeth) of Germany; her grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel, Carisa, Adam, Todd and Dane; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Abigail, Rebecca, Riley, Benjamin, Eleanor and Aidan; her husband Marv; and her friends, Mary, Doris, Ruth, Carol and Katie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be sent to Springdale Lutheran Church for the steeple repair fund.
