It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David John Powell (Mount Horeb, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Powell and Charlotte Powell (Thousand); his brother Kenneth Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Morris, Adeline Nelson and Roger Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Melanie (Joel Biermeier) and Marc (Jessica); his siblings, Karen (Fred Meyer), Dennis (Vicki) and Darcy; his siblings-in-law, Jane Powell, Betty Powell, Myron Nelson and Mary Ann Nelson; and his grandchildren, Michael Powell, Jaedan, Aaron, Isaiah, Nathaniel and Jocelyn Biermeier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
