She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Theis (Alice) and Elizabeth Maly; her husband William Holmes; her siblings, Lillian Schroeder (Ivan) and Leroy Theis; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Sutter (Glenn) and Diane Devine.

She is survived by: her son James Holmes (Christy); her grandchildren, Joshua Holmes (Tara Endres), Justin Holmes (Magen), Britney Holmes (Jayson Phillips) and Amber Holmes (Heath Tucker); her great grandchildren, Soren, Finnley, McKenzie, Ava, Breylon, Kayson and Thomas; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Brady, Jaxon, Rosie, Rylie, Missy and Natalie; her siblings, Eugene Theis (Louise), Roger Theis and Elaine Gehin; and her parents-in-law, Dave, Margaret Holmes, Raphael, Dolores Sutter, Norb, Ginny Oldenburg and Tom Devine.
