She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Schlinkert and Ella Schlinkert (Zickert); her brother Herbert Schlinkert; and her nephew Theodore Schlinkert. She is survived by: her husband George; her daughter Patricia Gibson; her grandchildren, Nathan Gibson, Matthew Gibson (Kristin) and Kristi Gibson; and her great grandchildren, Mitchell, Max and Marty. She is also survived by her grandchildren and enjoyed flowers, birds, music and her cats.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a scholarship program at Mount Horeb High School regarding physical therapy, or the Women's Ministries at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mount Horeb.
