He is survived by: his wife Mary Dempsey of Mount Calvary; his children, Jessica Miedema (Jon) of St. John, IN, Richard Dempsey Jr. (Cassy) of Fond, Lac and Heather Campbell (Kevin) of Madison; his grandchildren, Alexa, Tyler Miedema and Grace Dempsey; his brother Robert "Bob" Dempsey (Nancy) of Fond; and his brother-in-law Edward Collins of Fond. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
