He was predeceased by: his son Scott Birschbach; his parents, Nick Birschbach and Agnes Birschbach; his siblings, Jerome Birschbach, Ray Hilt, Leonard Hilt and Geny Kraus (Joe); and his brothers-in-law, Norman Loehr and Roger Daun.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Birschbach (Daun); his children, Steve (Diana Anderson), Judith Pieper (Russ) and Ann Flanders (Adam); his grandchildren, Aubrey Evans (Brad), Ruby Flanders (Grant) and Jade Brown (Colin); his great grandchild Hoyt Evans; his sister Rosemary Loehr; and his sisters-in-law, Theresa Hilt, Jeanine Birschbach and Shirley Daun. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
