Joseph I. Guelig Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph I. Guelig Sr. (Mount Calvary, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex F. Sr. Guelig and Malania Guelig (Ditter); his wife Mary Kathleen "Katie" Weber; his siblings, Helen Hoerth and Harold Guelig; and his siblings-in-law, Wilber Whitby, David Keifenheim, David Boehnlein, Lorena Diefenthaler (Elmer), Norman Sr. Weber (Julie) and Sylvester Weber.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Guelig (Lac) of Fond, JoAnn Diaz (Lac) of North Fond, Jim Guelig (Rosie) of St. Cloud, Randy Guelig of St. Cloud, Kathy Baganz of St. Cloud and Joe Guelig (Kay) of St. Cloud; his grandchildren, Kim Diaz (Mark Riendeau), Terri Kuechler (Chris), Jamie Smeester (Ryan), Kaylene Lisowe (John), Tracy Freund (Jason), Jimmy Jr. Guelig (Lauren), Tiffany Guelig (Eric Weber), Tyler Guelig (Heather), Travis Guelig, Tristen Guelig, Chelsea Baganz, Isabelle Baganz, Dylan Guelig (Savannah Stock), Alexa Guelig and Cami Guelig; his siblings, Stella Whitby, Theresa Keifenheim, Esther Boehnlein, Elizabeth Ebertz (Leander) and Alex Jr. Guelig (Kathy); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Guelig and Julie Weber. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established, in Joe's name, for the Winnebago East Shore Lions Club.
