It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph A. Simon of Mount Calvary, Wisconsin, born in Malone, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Simon and Loretta Simon (Feldner); his brothers-in-law, James Knaus of Weyauwega, Joseph Rahmer of St. Cloud and James Rahmer of Florida; his siblings, Arland Simon, Remegia Simon and Dolores Knaus; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Rahmer (Virginia), Jean Resop (Norm), George Rahmer (Elsie), Rosie Schneider (Ottie), John Rahmer, Joseph Kapellen, Gene Lackas and Jack Bera.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rahmer; his children, Anthony Simon (Alice) of Valders, Barbara Lefeber (Timothy) of St. Cloud, Karen Simon (Dundee) of St. Cloud and Jeffrey Simon (Bonnie) of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren, Mike Simon (Megan), Melissa Ashenbrenner, Megan Schneider (Zack), Holly Isaacs (Ben), Anton Simon (Bailey), Samantha Meyer (Richard), Kristopher Lefeber (Morgan), Hailey, Jaiden Lefeber, Alexander, Aaron and Luke Walber; his sister Mary Viegut (Douglas) of Kaukauna; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Kapellen of Sheboygan Falls, Rita Lackas of Theresa, Carol Laudolff (Richard) of Florida and Margie Bera of Fond du Lac. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
