He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr Stark and Theresa Stark (Jansen); and his sons-in-law, Paul Neiter and Frank Chernutan Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ahles; his daughters, Terri Neiter, Green Bay, Becky Cunningham (Josh) and Sue Ann Hintz (Bruce Jr); and his grandchildren, Claire Neiter, Mya, Joseph Paul Cunningham, Delphine, Evelyn, Sylvia and Bruce III. He is also survived by his wife, three daughters and grandchildren.
