He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schlatterer and Stella Schlatterer (Zdrojowy); his wife Betty Dalton; his sister Virginia Kohl; his granddaughter Alexis Witz-Fuss; and his son-in-law Darwin Witz.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine Boettcher (Dennis), John Schlatterer (Kathy) and Jamie Simonis (Mark); his grandchildren, Sean Witz (Stephanie), Merrill and Andrea Biersack (Matt); his great grandchild Tobias Witz; and his brother William Schlatterer of Old Orchard, ME..
