It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen June Bender of Mosinee, Wisconsin, born in Colby, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elroy Gutenberger and Anna Gutenberger (Engel); her siblings, Roy Gutenberger, Jim Gutenberger (Grace), Rita Walsh (Armin) and Sharon Treutel (Dave); her brother-in-law Gordie Schuster; and her son-in-law Jerry Vesely.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Heil (Richard), Weston, Bob Bender (Vicki), Kathy Vesely and Barry Bender (Ellen); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Heil (Allison), Carrie Heil, Mark Heil, Jennifer Bender (Peter), Jackie Bartelak (Ryan), Brenda Cooper (Cory), Gina Machak (Jesse), Kelly Wedge (Seamus) and Kyle Bender; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Jenna Heil, Cody, Drew Brehm, Hatie, Willa Bender, Bennett, Charlotte, Brady Bartelak, Harlie Landwehr (Forest), Jack, Jerry Machak, Elise, Lydia Wedge and Russell Landwehr; her sister Eldora Schuster; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Gutenberger and Shirley Walsh. She is also survived by wife, a loving mother and proud of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandson.
