He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Gempeler and Margaret Gempeler (Stricker). He is survived by: his siblings, RoxAnn Witkowski, S. C., Ron Gempeler of Brodhead, Rick Gempeler (Deb) of Oshkosh and Reyne Phillips (Stacey) of Browntown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Roger's name for the Monticello Lion's Club and Monticello Fire Department.
