He was predeceased by: his parents, Deylile Malkow and Ruth Malkow (Qualley); his wife Caroline Mae Malkow (Broughton); his sister Donna Zimmerman; and his sister-in-law Linda Malkow.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Malkow and Thomas Malkow (Marcia); his granddaughter Marley Malkow; his great grandchild Miller Hill; and his siblings, Glen Malkow and Darlene Meier.
A memorial fund will be established in Nelson's name.
