She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Nowak and Emma Nowak (Prochaska); her husband Lyle Edge; her daughter-in-law Lynda Wiese; her siblings, Bernadette Cummings (Len), Alberta Sullivan (Jim), Mary Margis, Jim Nowak (Doris), Tony, George, Tom, Sam (Ruby Whitish) and Emil (Evelyn Speich); and her sister-in-law Charlotte Foryan.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Edge, Jeff Edge, Pat Edge (Deb), Debi Edge, Randy Edge (Dixie), Janet Edge (Bruce Schreiber), Betty Olson (Dave) and Rob Edge (Lisa); her siblings, Joe Nowak (Joann) and Pat Nowak; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Margis and Susan Nowak. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

Rita M. (Nowak) Edge of Montfort died Wednesday, October 14, 2020 as a result of Covid-19.
