He was predeceased by: his parents, John Laufenberg and Gwen Laufenberg (Beran); his brothers, Tom and Randy; and his brother-in-law Larry Welsh.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Curtis; his children, Aaron Laufenberg (Annamarie) and Trina Pettit (Justin); his grandchildren, Ava Laufenberg and Braylin Pettit; and his siblings, Dennis Laufenberg (Linda), Pat Slapak (Monty), Donna Roeker (Dave) and Susan Welsh.
In lieu of plants and flowers, donations in Mike's name may be made to the UW Health Transplant Center, National Kidney Foundation, or American Heart Association.
