She is survived by: her husband Bill Hochausen; her children, Dale Hochhausen (Lori), Steven Hochhausen (Shelly Arnett) and Jill Buechner (Bill); her grandchildren, Carter and Ashlynn Buechner; and her siblings, Francis Mergen (Suzanne), Doris Vesperman, Rita Ley, Charlene Schildgen (Norbert), Marilyn Dalton, Janet Graney (Roger) and Evie McCann.

Carrie was proud of her over 30 years of blood donation.
