He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Heine and Ethel Heine; his brother Rollin Heine; his father-in-law Bill Beahm; and his brother-in-law Tim Beahm.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph Heine (Jessica), Jeremy Heine (Caleena), Joshua Heine (Sara) and Amaris Mergen (Robert); and his wife Bonnie Beahm. He is also survived by four children; grandchildren; and many family and friends.
