He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Eckelberg and Ruth Eckelberg (Westpfahl); his spouse Wilmetta Schendel; and his siblings, Robert, Loren, Raymond, Charles, Ruby and Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Steven of Green Bay, Monica Zauner (Joseph) of Montello, Nancy Condon (Paul) of Watertown and Scott (Amy) of Slinger; his grandchildren, Joseph Zauner (Melissa), Leslie Campbell (Steve), Tracie Velardo (Tony), Andrew Condon, Rachel Stommel (Joe), Richard Condon, Alyssa Knueppel (Lucas), Caitlin Roy (Brock), Bryan Eckelberg (Shelby) and Adam Eckelberg (Abby); and his sisters, Lucile Hemerley and Gladys Kaus (Roger). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
