She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Shirk and Ethel Shirk (Starner); her husband Lester Bornick; and her siblings, Barb, Kate, Marilyn, Steven and Carson.

She is survived by: her son David Bornick of Montello; and her brothers, Joseph Shirk (Carolyn), Donald Shirk and Gene Shirk. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
