We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2023, at the age of 81, Neil Edward Gilles (Montello, Wisconsin) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Neil Edward Gilles to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Gilles and Marion Gilles (Bateman); his son Todd Gilles; his brother Rusty Gilles; and his son-in-law Brian Paulsen.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Koth; his daughter Tracy Paulsen; his grandchildren, Jesse, Taylor Paulsen, Joseph and Jeremy Gilles; his brothers, William (Lynn) and Steven Gilles (Sharon); his sister-in-law Judith Gilles; his daughter-in-law Tammy Zipperer; and his pet Rascal. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

“My heart is breaking for your loss, Judy and Tracy. I'll never forget all the times we shared around Sherwood Forest, Falls Archery, hunting camps and cookouts. Neil was unique, a kind of gentle grizzly bear who would help anyone. This photo took place around 1979 when he cooked for us at your Germantown home with our family from Maine. May this dear friend rest in peace.”
