He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cephas Curtis and Irene Curtis (Lynch); his daughters, Renee Schuelke (Bruce) and Connie Streich (Dennis); his grandchildren, Todd Schuelke (Luisa), Nicole Schuelke (Brent Behling), Erik Schuelke (Ashley), Michelle Nummerdor (Curt) and Mara Phelps (Joel); his great grandchildren, Emma, Lorelai, Isabelle, Sadie and Danny; his wife Rhynelda Tritz; and his granddaughter Rachael. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
