Gene Crook Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gene Crook of Montello, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Crook and Arlene Crook (Lienke); his wife Sharon Amrhein; his son James; and his brothers-in-law, George Marvin and Walter Thole.
He is survived by: his children, Jerome (Glenda) of Columbus, Marilyn Mead of Platteville and John (Darcy) of Fitchburg; his daughter-in-law Coleen Crook; his sister Jane Marvin; and his stepsister Patricia Thole. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Town Hall. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (313 E Montello St, Montello, WI 53949).
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, W5161 Evergreen Lane, Montello, WI 53949.
