He was predeceased by: his parents, Kendal Schmidtke and Jean Schmidtke (Shaffer); and his daughter Lisa Stansbury. He is survived by: his girlfriend Judy Stansbury; his daughter Tami Stansbury (Mike Nelson) of Montello; his grandchildren, Devin and Trista Nelson; and his siblings, Barb Schmidtke (Glenn Wolfe), Jim, Steve (Julie), Ken and Kathy Khalar (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many special friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post #351 (W3008 WI-23, Montello, WI 53949).
