He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Sharon Anne Smith (Olson); and his siblings, James Russell Smith, David Lee Smith, Michael Todd Smith and Rebecca Anne Sheldon. He is also survived by four nieces, three nephews; six great nieces; two great nephews; two aunts and several cousins.
