With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel R. Gilmartin (Montello, Wisconsin), born in West Allis, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 20, 2019 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wally and Dorothy Rofkahr; his stepfather Brian Weiss; his grandparents, Edward and Henrietta Gilmartin; and his uncles, Eddy and Richard Gilmartin.

He is survived by: his mother Gloria Benzine; his stepfather Steve Benzine; his father Joseph Gilmartin; his brother Sean Gilmartin (Kim); his half-siblings, Joseph Gilmartin (Danielle), Jennifer Walsh (Travis) and Jessica Smith (Donald); his stepsisters, Caroline Nagle, Christine Gardner, Tiffany Mitchell (Robert) and Melissa Jacobson (David); and his great-uncle Denis Higgs (Pat).

The family suggests that memorials be made to the Dane County Humane Society, 5132 Voges Road, Madison, WI, 53718.
