He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose McTrusty and Minnie Fossman McTrusty; his wife Dorothy; his daughter-in-law Carol McTrusty; and his siblings, Henry McTrusty, Arno McTrusty, Ethelyn Eickner and Muriel McTrusty.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Mensch (David) of Charlesburg, Timothy McTrusty (Sandy) of Panama City, Margaret Perkins (David) of Eldorado and William McTrusty (Meri) of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Kristine Maurer, Kerry Kollmann, Amy Schatschneider, Andrew Perkins, Sarah Brown, Chelsey McTrusty, Jessie Skaer and Megan McTrusty; and his stepgrandchildren, Jason Mensch, Adam Mensch and Elliot Dillman. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Paul's Building Fund and Winnebago Lutheran Academy.
