He was predeceased by: his parents, William Solawetz and Sylvia Solawetz (Koca); his wife Therese M. Bruzan; his granddaughter Katherine LaBudde; and his siblings, Elaine, Vernon and Donald.

He is survived by: his children, James, Mary LaBudde, William E. (Wendy), Joseph (Laura), Harold, Ann Maco (Jose) and Richard; and his sister-in-law Lois Solawetz. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
