He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Harbach and Mabel Harbach (Ferguson); his stepmother Shirley Harbach; his mother-in-law Leona Blasing; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Stabenow, Lee Biesemeier and Eldon Kent.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law LaVern Blasing (Phyllis) of Lena; his aunts, Lucille Karnatz and Eunice Harbach; and his uncle Norman Wybourn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
