With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald R. Johnson of Monroe, Wisconsin, born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald R. Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lee Johnson and Fentie Johnson (Reed); his parents-in-law, Ruth and Orville "Bill" Flaherty; and his siblings, Delores Moore (Ed) and Doug Welsh.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Flaherty; his children, Ray Sr. (Ginny), Wiota, Steve, Monroe, Jeff (Lyn) of Bangor, WI, Paul of Batavia, IL, Eric and Val (Jayson Edmunds); his grandchildren, Ray Jr. (Jolene), Ryan (Beric), Jeremiah, Tanner (Brittany), Sawyer Kleeman (Aaron), Nicholas, Catherine and Payton; his great grandchildren, Danny, Riley and Aubrie; and his brother-in-law William Flaherty (Scott Swatalski). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along came Covid and streaming of games became commonplace and could once again be enjoyed.
A memorial fund will be established benefitting Dixon, IL Waterfront and Monroe Clinic Hospice.
