He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Stephenson and Edith Stephenson (Fry); his wife Barbara Pannell; and his daughter Sharon. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Ward, Susan Pressley, Heidi Stephenson (Steve) and Beth Stephenson; his grandchildren, Samantha (Brad), Brandy and Laylah; and his great grandchild Mercedes.
