He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fitzsimons and Shirley Fitzsimons (Venden); his siblings, Mary Jean Fitzsimons and Joseph Fitzsimons; his nephew Chad Helms; and his grandparents, Christopher Venden, James, Alvina McKeon, Frances and Francis Fitzsimons.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Donahoe; his siblings, Tom "Stubby" Fitzsimons (Gay) of Darlington, Ed Fitzsimons (Julie) of Darlington, Bob Fitzsimons (Missy) of Darlington, Steve Fitzsimons (Candi) of Darlington and Kathy Wiegel (Kevin) of DeForest, WI; his uncle James McKeon of Blanchardville; and his aunts, Carolyn Ruegsegger of Blanchardville, WI and Marilyn Zentner of Monroe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (104 E Harriet St, Darlington, WI 53530). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
