He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Olson and Viola Olson (Johnson); and his wife Tam Taplin (Blanche). He is survived by: his children, Chris (Virginia) of Medina, Craig (Kathy) of Bettendorf, Iowa and Julie Napel (Robert) of Marquette, Michigan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
