He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Jr. Rufi and Harriet Rufi (Brown); his wife Kay Rufi (Abbuehl); his brother Robert Rufi; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Rufi, Nancy Babler, John Abbuehl and Glenn Abbuehl.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Abigail, Natalie, Chloe Kraemer of Madison, Owen and Kiera Riemer of Eden Prairie, MN; his brother Thomas Rufi (Alyce) of The Colony, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Obert (Gaylon) of Orangeville, IL, Connie Folgate (Thomas) of Orangeville, IL, Holly Abbuehl of Madison, Carolyn Abbuehl of Tucson, AZ and Ron Babler of Monroe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Monroe SSM Hospice Home in Marvin's name.
