She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Gavigan and Louise Gavigan (Meudt); her husband Robert Benkert; her son Richard; and her sisters, Mary Golackson and Lois Cuneo.

She is survived by: her children, David Benkert (Wendy) of Irvine, CA and Mary Benkert of Phoenix, AZ..

There will be no public visitation due to Covid-19.
