We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2019, at the age of 103, Lorene Nickerson (Monroe, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Macy and Sarah Macy; her husband Donald O. Nickerson; her daughter Charlotte A. Currie; and her siblings, Charles, Gordon, Leo, Leon, Loretta, Charlotte, Bessie and Arlene.

She is survived by: her sons, Donald A. Nickerson (Betty) of Scandia, KS and Duane L. Nickerson (Carolyn) of Omaha, NE; her son-in-law Bob Currie of Goodland, KS; and her sisters-in-law, Irene Macy, Catherine Macy and Norma Nickerson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church, Belleville, KS or the charity of your choice.
