Leona E. Klassey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2022, at the age of 88, Leona E. Klassey of Monroe, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona E. Klassey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Tornow and Elsie Tornow (Taufmann); her husband Wilbert H. Klassey; her granddaughter-in-law Laura Viney; and her sisters, Agnes Shippee and Margaret Akins.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Viney (William) of Virginia and Kenneth Klassey of Monroe; her grandson William K. Viney (Angela Kuzma); her great grandchildren, John of Virginia and Elizabeth Viney of Virginia; and her siblings, Herbert Tornow (Yvonne) of South Wayne and Erma Kaster of Monroe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund will be established in Leona's name for the National Historic Cheesemaking Center and St. John's United Church of Christ Endowment Fund.
