He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth of Monroe; his daughter Cyndy Griffin (Dan) of Wilton, Iowa; his grandsons, Joshua Leopold (Christina), Jamie Leopold (Kristen) and Cody Rackow; and his sister Letty Studer of Monroe. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren.
