She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Tornow and Elsie Tornow (Tauffman); her son Dean; her husband Edward J. Kaster; her children-in-law, Cindi Kaster and Kirk Dinges; and her sisters, Margaret Akins, Agnes Shippee and Leona Klassey.
She is survived by: her daughter Norma Dinges of Zephyrhills, FL; her grandchildren, Craig Schiller (Jasmine) of Monticello, Brad Kaster (Sara) of Browntown, Scott Kaster of Marshall and Savanna Heindl (Andy) of Sun Prairie; her great grandchildren, Sierra Schiller, Cash Kaster, Sutter, Josie Gerber-Kaster, Malia and Luke Heindl; her stepgrandson Mason Solofra; and her brother Herbert Tornow (Yvonne) of South Wayne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Erma's name for the Browntown Community Park.
